We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced PeopleSoft HCM North America Payroll Functional Specialist to manage and support payroll processes within the PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) system, specifically for North American operations. This role requires a deep understanding of payroll compliance, system configuration, and functional integration across various modules. Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations. System Configuration: Configure and maintain the PeopleSoft HCM payroll module. Set up pay groups, earnings, deductions, tax elections, and banking details aligned with North American payroll requirements. Compliance & Reporting: Maintain compliance with labor laws and tax regulations. Prepare and file payroll reports including W-2s, 1099s, and statutory payments. Handle inquiries from tax authorities and stay updated with tax updates. Data Management: Ensure accurate and secure payroll data management. Integrate data inputs from other modules and external systems. Troubleshooting & Support: Identify, analyze, and resolve payroll issues such as overpayments and underpayments. Support end-users by resolving payroll-related queries effectively. Testing & Validation: Conduct testing during system upgrades, patches, and new implementations. Validate payroll results to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaboration: Coordinate with HR, Finance, and IT teams for system integration and process alignment. Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on payroll activities. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and efficiency. Keep current with PeopleSoft HCM enhancements and North American payroll best practices. Required Functional Experience: Proficiency in the following PeopleSoft modules: Core HR Base Benefits & Administration Payroll (North America) Absence Management Additional Qualifications: Strong understanding of HR and payroll business processes. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve client-reported issues. Skilled in interpreting functional designs and resolving related issues. Experience in requirements gathering and working on system enhancements. Ability to create and update functional design documentation.
