Description We are looking for a highly skilled QA QC Inspector Welding with 8-10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in welding inspection and quality control, as well as possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of welded parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and specifications Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) such as radiography, ultrasonic, and magnetic particle inspection Verify welding procedures and qualifications of welders Perform welder qualification tests Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions Provide technical support to welding and fabrication personnel Participate in internal and external audits Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 8-10 years of experience in welding inspection and quality control Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent certification Expertise in welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and codes such as ASME, AWS, and API Strong knowledge of NDT techniques and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
