• Machine Setup and Operation:Setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls, including loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces.

Skills and Qualifications:

• CNC Machining Experience: Proven experience in CNC milling operations, specifically with 5-axis machines and Heidenhain controllers.
• Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• CNC Programming: Strong understanding of CNC programming languages, including G-code.
• Tooling and Fixturing: Knowledge of various tooling and work holding techniques for complex 5-axis machining.
• Precision Measurement: Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments like micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot machine issues and identify solutions quickly.
• Mechanical Aptitude: A good understanding of mechanical principles and machine functionality.
• Communication: Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and reporting issues.
