Job Description

As a Technical Sales Engineer (TSE) at Fixotec, a leading provider of modular supports and vibration control systems, you will play a crucial role in the MEP modular support system industry. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and nurturing strong relationships with customers, offering technical product support, and driving sales growth. Your key duties will involve establishing and maintaining solid connections with customers, contractors, engineers, and consultants. You will provide technical support by offering product recommendations, installation guidance, and troubleshooting assistance. Additionally, conducting product demonstrations and presentations to customers and key stakeholders will be a part of your routine tasks. Collaboration with the sales team is essential to develop and implement effective sales strategies aimed at driving growth in target markets and accounts. Working closely with the engineering and product development teams, you will ensure that customer needs are met and contribute to the development of new product ideas. Remaining up-to-date with industry trends and market changes will be crucial for providing valuable insights and recommendations to the team. Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities in the company's CRM system will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field. Ideally, you should have 0-2+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in the MEP modular support system industry. Proficiency in the latest BIM platforms like Revit, Navisworks, etc., is required. Strong technical aptitude and understanding of mechanical, HVAC, and electrical systems are essential. Excellent communication skills, both in presenting technical information to non-technical audiences and in written form, will be necessary. Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are key attributes. This role may require up to 50% travel, hence owning a personal vehicle is a must. We offer a competitive salary, benefits package including health insurance, and paid time off.
