Job Description

Position: Technical Content Writer

Job Summary:

The profile will be responsible for creating compelling, engaging, and SEO-optimized content for various digital platforms for both in house and clients’ needs.. The role demands a strong command of language, a knack for storytelling, and the ability to tailor content for different audiences and channels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation

  • Write high-quality and original content for blogs, articles, website pages, email campaigns, and social media posts.
  • Craft engaging and persuasive ad copy for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Develop whitepapers, case studies, and eBooks to support lead generation efforts.

2. SEO Optimization

  • Research and incorporate relevant keywords into content to enhance organic search visibility.
  • Write meta titles, descriptions, and other on-page SEO elements for website pages.
  • Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure content aligns with search intent and ranking goals.

3. Content Strategy and Planning

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Plan and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Research industry trends, audience preferences, and competitors to identify content opportunities.

4. Editing and Proofreading

  • Proofread and edit content for grammar, tone, style, and accuracy.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent voice.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure error-free and polished deliverables.

5. Collaboration

  • Work closely with designers and social media teams to create visually appealing and cohesive content.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to produce industry-specific content.
  • Support cross-functional teams with content needs, including marketing campaigns and client presentations.

6. Performance Analysis

  • Track the performance of published content using analytics tools.
  • Identify what works and refine content strategies accordingly.
  • Provide regular performance reports and insights to stakeholders.

7. Staying Updated

  • Stay informed about the latest content trends, digital marketing techniques, and audience preferences.
  • Experiment with innovative content formats and storytelling techniques to improve engagement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role in a digital marketing setup.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs).
  • Knowledge of content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent research skills and the ability to write for diverse industries and audiences.

  • Content Performance Metrics
  • Increase in organic traffic to blog pages and other content assets.
  • Growth in engagement rates, such as time spent on page and shares.
  • SEO Metrics
  • Improvement in keyword rankings for target terms.
  • Increase in click-through rates (CTR) for SEO and ad content.
  • Content Volume and Quality
  • Number of pieces of content delivered per month.
  • Reduction in errors and revisions required during the review process.
  • Audience Engagement
  • Growth in social media shares, comments, and interactions for content.
  • Positive feedback or testimonials from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead Generation Support
  • Increase in leads generated from gated content (e.g., eBooks, whitepapers).
  • Conversion rates from email campaigns and landing pages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
