Sr. Staff Silicon Validation Engineer

As part of the Silicon Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to validate building blocks in FPGA and ensure their functionality and performance. This role will involve working with cutting-edge equipment, advanced boards, and various software/tools/scripts. **Responsibilities & Skills:** - Opportunity to learn and participate in cutting-edge FPGA projects. - Validate and characterize various IPs within the FPGA. - Develop validation and characterization plans for specific IPs, bench hardware, and software. - Drive new silicon product bring-up, validation, debug, and assess IP functionality/performance. - Serve as a central resource across different teams as products move from silicon arrival to production release. - Support customer issues to resolve post-release issues. **Qualifications Required:** - 12+ years of experience. - Ability to lead and manage teams of 8 or more. - Electrical Engineering degree with a focus on a career in Silicon Design Validation. - Expertise in High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization and protocol compliance testing. - Proficiency in high-speed board design and signal integrity evaluation/debug. - Knowledge of Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development tools. - Experience in test automation using programming languages like Python, Perl. - Familiarity with statistical analysis concepts and tools. - Proficiency in using bench equipment for device characterization. - Exposure to FPGA emulation/prototyping. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Self-motivated, proactive, critical thinker with good problem-solving skills.,
