As a Sr. Lead Systems Design Engineer at AMD, your role is crucial in contributing to the success of AMD products by driving and improving the company's abilities to deliver high-quality, industry-leading technologies to the market. The Server Emulation team encourages continuous technical innovation and career development. Key Responsibilities: - Work on BIOS boot on Emulation & Debug - Debug issues during the process, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs - Collaborate with multiple teams to track test execution and ensure timely validation and optimization of all features - Work closely with supporting technical teams - Engage in software/hardware modeling frameworks - Lead collaborative approach with multiple teams Preferred Experience: - Familiarity with emulation platforms like Palladium, Zebu, Veloce - Knowledge of Soc Design Debug techniques and methodologies - Experience in debugging failures using emulation waveform viewers, log files, and microcode trace dumps - Validate H/W Design using emulation - Understanding of protocols such as SPI, DDR, SATA, USB, AXI, PCI, PCIe, MIPI, WLAN, or I2C - Extensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail - Self-starter with the ability to independently drive tasks to completion Academic Credentials: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering Join AMD to be part of a culture of innovation and collaboration where bold ideas and human ingenuity are valued.
