Solutions Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer at Sumo Logic, you will play a crucial role in contributing to, architecting for, and leading IT in the design and development of new infrastructure automation projects. Your main responsibilities will include designing and implementing complex enterprise infrastructure solutions, improving existing IT-managed systems, solutions, and processes, and contributing to the re-architecting of IT systems for more streamlined implementations. You will work closely with a highly skilled team to deliver high-impact engagements and report directly to the Global Head of IT. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing and implementing complex and well-architected enterprise infrastructure solutions - Improving existing IT-managed systems, solutions, and processes through architectural reviews and design enhancement initiatives - Experience in devops methodologies and practices as applied to infrastructure, cloud, identity, integration, and network solutions - Contributing to the re-architecting of IT systems, solutions, and processes for more streamlined, scalable, and resilient implementations - Building strong partnerships and engaging with other teams to create solutions that benefit all parties and increase derived value - Working on end-to-end provisioning solutions for a growing enterprise organization across multiple environments and types of infrastructure **Qualifications Required:** - 4+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of ownership and delivery - Experience developing scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure architectures and implementations - Experience with observability and cost-optimization in application, server, and cloud settings, with a preference for AWS - Experience working with Fortinet network devices and DNS optimization and consolidation - Experience with Identity Providers, Certificate Management, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, writing automations and system integrations, and an on-call schedule for enterprise systems - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience in ADP, Azure, and GCP is a plus - Passion for continuous learning and deep technological curiosity - Agile development experience and familiarity with Jira, sprints, and pointing *About Us:* Sumo Logic, Inc., empowers the people who power modern, digital business by enabling them to deliver reliable and secure cloud-native applications through its SaaS analytics platform.
