SMTS/Principal ASIC Design Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for ASIC RTL design with 10+ years of experience and proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog. Your role will involve working with multiple clock and power domains, integrating and validating various MIPI cores, debugging, and implementing CSI/DSI controllers. Additionally, you will be creating micro-architecture specifications, reviewing vendor IP integration guidelines, running integrity check tools, and participating in design verification and physical implementation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Possess 10+ years of ASIC RTL Design experience and proficiency in Verilog/System Verilog - Work with multiple clock and power domains - Integrate and validate CSI/DSI/DPHY/CPHY/other MIPI cores, including controllers and SerDes - Debug CSI/DSI - Design and implement CSI/DSI controllers - Create block-level micro-architecture specifications outlining interfaces, timing behavior, design tradeoffs, and performance goals - Review vendor IP integration guidelines and ensure compliance throughout the design flow - Run integrity check tools like Lint/CDC/DFT/LEC/UPF to meet coding and implementation guidelines - Participate in the design verification process by reviewing test plans, coverage reports, writing assertions, and making design modifications - Contribute to the physical implementation process by providing synthesis constraints, timing exceptions, and design updates to achieve area, power, and performance goals Qualification Required: - Graduate Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a minimum of 10 years of experience in ASIC RTL design (Post Graduate degree is a plus) - Experience in ASIC product life cycle including requirements, design, implementation, test, and post-silicon validation - Ability to work and communicate effectively with multi-site teams Note: The company culture emphasizes passion for technology solutions impacting businesses and individual growth.
