Senior Software Developer

As a Data Visualization Specialist, your role involves creating data visualizations and transforming data into dashboard/report outputs. You will be responsible for analyzing and integrating data from multiple sources. It will be your duty to confirm the accuracy of report outputs from the DBA team by leveraging the end PowerBI report. You will also be expected to recommend Lake/PBI cube transformation revisions to optimize data accuracy for reporting efforts. Additionally, maintaining reports, troubleshooting issues with the DBA team, updating excel sources for data transformation, debugging technical issues with reports/data, and recommending and optimizing PBI Dashboard logic are key responsibilities in this role. - Create data visualizations and transform data into dashboard/report outputs - Analyze and integrate data from multiple sources - Confirm accuracy of report outputs from DBA team leveraging the end PowerBI report - Recommend Lake/PBI cube transformation revisions to optimize data accuracy for use in reporting efforts - Maintain reports and work with DBA team to troubleshooting issues to maximize accuracy - Maintain/update excel sources leveraged to support data transformation - Debug technical issues with reports/data when they arise - Recommend and optimize PBI Dashboard logic - 3-5+ years of experience with PowerBI visualization, DAX programming, and Query Editor - Knowledge of the insurance industry is a plus - Expert knowledge of SQL programming language - Excellent technical skills including advanced knowledge of Excel - Experience working with large databases - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills - Strong attention to detail,
