We are seeking a Senior Azure Engineer with deep expertise in Azure virtual machines, networking, storage, security, and automation. The ideal candidate will be skilled in scripting, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, monitoring, identity management, and cost optimisation to deliver secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage Azure virtual machines , networking, and storage solutions.
Implement and maintain Azure security controls, identity management, and role-based access policies.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, or equivalent scripting languages.
Build and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using ARM, Bicep, or Terraform.
Configure and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD automation.
Monitor and optimise cloud environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and related tools.
Implement and maintain cost control strategies to ensure optimal cloud spend.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Skills & Experience

Proven experience managing and engineering Azure cloud environments.
Strong knowledge of Azure networking, virtual machines, storage, and security best practices.
Proficiency with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform).
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and automation workflows.
Skilled in cloud monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of identity and access management in Azure AD.

Desirable

Azure certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Administrator Associate).
Experience in hybrid cloud and on-premises integrations.
Exposure to regulated or enterprise-scale environments.
