Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and REST-Assured (nice to have).
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, focusing on REST APIs, JSON, and related technologies.
Write detailed functional test cases and perform functional testing to ensure software works as intended.
Identify, document, and track defects through the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner.
Work closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and contribute to the overall testing strategy.
Conduct regression testing and ensure that new features do not break existing functionality.
Continuously improve testing processes and tools to optimize the quality assurance lifecycle.
Independently manage testing efforts for multiple projects and releases with minimal supervision.
Participate in team meetings, providing feedback, progress updates, and solutions to challenges encountered during testing.
Must-Have Skills:
Selenium Expertise in automation testing.
Cucumber – Experience with behavior-driven development (BDD).
Java - Hands on working knowledge.
Postman – Proficiency in API testing using Postman.
Functional Test Writing – Ability to create and write comprehensive functional test cases.
Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels
