Role Overview

Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated scripts.
Identify, record, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product managers to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
Drive test automation strategy and frameworks for faster release cycles.
Ensure adherence to QA best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Provide clear, concise, and comprehensive defect reports.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Hands-on experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of manual and
automated testing
methodologies.
Proficiency in
automation tools
(e.g., Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, JUnit).
Hands-on experience with
API testing tools
(e.g., Postman, Rest Assured).
Good understanding of
CI/CD pipelines
and DevOps practices.
Familiarity with defect management and tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
