Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining DB's Central Problem Management team in APAC, based in Pune, India, as a Problem Manager at the AVP level. Your primary responsibility will be to drive the stability of the Production Environment in the Bank by minimizing the adverse impact of incidents and problems caused by errors in the IT infrastructure. Your role involves identifying and eliminating root causes to prevent reoccurrence, documenting known errors and workarounds effectively, and engaging with various technology groups to drive root cause analysis and remediation. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the full lifecycle of the problem management process, leading root cause analysis activities to identify root causes of problems - Provide executive summaries of Problem Management findings for regulatory reporting - Identify trends, patterns, and recurring issues through data analysis tools and incident reports - Develop and implement proactive problem management initiatives to prevent future incidents - Collaborate with incident, change, and configuration management teams to ensure alignment - Ensure appropriate SMEs are assigned tasks with due dates, follow up on overdue tasks, and escalate as necessary - Review the effectiveness of implemented solutions for issue resolution and process improvements - Create comprehensive technical problem reports to support investigations - Ensure compliance with working instructions, Key Operating Procedures, internal SLAs, KPIs, and audit requirements Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of Problem Management experience - ITIL experience preferred - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Good understanding of infrastructure and application technologies - Clear communication skills (both written and verbal) - Ability to work in a complex technical environment at the application and infrastructure level - Working knowledge of Service Now - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Company Details: DB strives for a culture of empowerment, responsibility, commercial thinking, initiative, and collaboration.
