Job Description

  • Location: Skillio – Training & Placement Institute

Department: Training & Placement Cell

Role Overview

The Placement Manager will lead Skillio’s placement operations, build strong industry partnerships, and ensure students get high-quality interview opportunities. The role demands strong communication, relationship-building, and coordination skills, with a focus on delivering measurable placement outcomes.

Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Industry Partnerships & Company Outreach

  • Identify, connect, and build relationships with IT companies and HR teams.
  • Pitch Skillio’s training programs and student profiles to potential hiring partners.
  • Maintain a database of partner companies and regularly follow up for hiring requirements.

2. Placement Operations & Scheduling

  • Coordinate interview drives, technical tests, HR rounds, and client visits.
  • Share job openings with students and ensure timely registration and participation.
  • Track interview progress for each batch and ensure smooth communication between students and companies.

3. Student Readiness & Grooming Support

  • Conduct pre-placement orientations and mock interview sessions.
  • Guide students on resume building, communication skills, and interview etiquette.
  • Work closely with technical trainers to understand student strengths and job-fit.

4. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain records of all placement activities, interview outcomes, and hiring statistics.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly placement reports for management review.
  • Ensure transparency and consistent communication with students regarding placement processes.

5. Employer & Alumni Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong engagement with alumni working in companies for referrals.
  • Organize employer meets, webinars, and placement networking events.

6. Brand Building & Representation

  • Represent Skillio in industry events, job fairs, and campus recruitment drives.
  • Support marketing team by providing success stories and placement data.

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Analyze hiring trends and recommend improvements in training modules.
  • Identify high-demand skills and coordinate with trainers to align courses accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
