Overview

Network Security Engineer


Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and monitor firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security.
  • Implement network segmentation, VPNs, and zero-trust policies.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to ensure compliance.


Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in network security.
  • Expertise with Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco security stacks.
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN configurations.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar).


Preferred Qualifications

  • CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ certifications.
  • Cloud security experience (AWS/Azure).
