NAND Engineer-Senior contract engineer

As a Senior Contract NAND Engineer at a leading IT company in Bangalore, your role will involve defining System Design, FW Architecture, and test flows for NAND Flash memory products. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding memory specifications and creating system designs for memory products - Developing internal and external specifications in collaboration with system architects, external vendors, and cross-functional teams - Defining, implementing, and executing NAND tests and Bench Validation for NAND Flash-based products - Constantly learning and exploring new technologies while effectively solving problems - Collaborating with cross-functional teams like ASIC, Firmware, and Validation to ensure smooth product development - Analyzing and debugging product validation issues, and verifying fixes through reproduction - Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with global teams across different time zones Key Skills & Expertise required for this role include: Required: - Understanding of ONFI protocol - Experience in system design of Flash memory, SSD, or other storage products - Proficiency in Embedded SOC architecture and NAND Flash device architecture and behavior - Experience with C/C++ for developing Embedded FW and scripting using Python - Software debugging skills in C, C++, Python with JTAG debuggers - Post-silicon validation and debugging experience - Hands-on experience with lab equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, logic analyzers - Ability to work effectively as part of a global team in multiple geographies - 3-5 years of experience in embedded systems architecture Preferred: - Multi-disciplinary experience in Firmware, HW, and ASIC design - Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash is advantageous - Experience working with DDR and LPDDR protocols - Experience with FPGA and/or emulation is a plus - Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong can-do attitude If you are a skilled engineer with a passion for memory products and a collaborative mindset, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.,
