Main Responsibilities

Data Warehouse Management

• Maintain and optimize schemas in Oracle and Google BigQuery.
• Monitor and troubleshoot scheduled procedures and ETL processes.
• Perform validations and audits to ensure data accuracy and governance.
• Transition Oracle schemas to GCP with performance and reliability in mind.
• Create and maintain data dictionaries and warehouse documentation.
• Source and integrate new data as needed.
• Define and document data definitions, business rules, and quality standards.
• Manage code repositories using Git.

Reporting & Automation

• Develop and maintain Python scripts for automated reporting, ETL, and process automation.
• Design and manage complex reporting views, tables, and procedures.
• Deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to support business decision-making and hypothesis testing.

Project & Sprint Management

• Use Azure DevOps (ADO) for intake management, sprint planning, and task tracking.

Job Experience

• 8–12years

   of experience in database engineering, data architecture, or business intelligence roles.
• Proven track record in designing and maintaining enterprise-level data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle DBMS and Google BigQuery in production environments.
• Experience leading data migration projects, especially transitioning from legacy systems to cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
• Experience in telecom or similar data-intensive industries is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced Oracle database development (stored procedures, nested queries, ETL, schema maintenance).
• Intermediate to advanced Python development for automation, ETL, and API integration.
• Advanced GCP data architecture and cost-optimized query design.
• Experience with Informatica Cloud.
• Strong background in data governance, integrity, and quality control.
• Skilled in handling and summarizing large datasets.
