FPGA Design Engineer

As an FPGA Design Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in the development and validation of sub-systems and RTL modules. Your responsibilities will include: - Understanding system requirements and creating system and RTL design documents. - Developing RTL and test benches for verification and validation purposes. - Delivering test specifications documents and test objectives. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align the development and validation processes. - Generating internal and external specifications and user documents. - Continuously learning and exploring new technologies while approaching problem-solving with critical thinking. - Analyzing competitive data for product development. - Working closely with ASIC, Firmware, and Validation teams to ensure smooth product development. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in micro architecture FPGA systems, IP integration, Verilog RTL-based IP design, and Verilog/System Verilog testbench development. - Proficiency in AMD Vivado & Vitis SDK & VItis AI tools. - Ability to work with C/C++ for Embedded FW development and Python for scripting automation. - Familiarity with Petalinux build flow, Uboot, Linux driver changes, and FPGA SoC debugging. - Proven track record of working in global teams across multiple geographies. - B.Tech. in Electronics, Electrical, or Computer Science Engineering. - 8-10 years of experience in FPGA/RTL, TestBench, and embedded systems architecture. - Multi-disciplinary experience in Firmware, HW, and ASIC/FPGA design. Preferred qualifications include: - Knowledge of FPGA Chip to Chip interfacing and AMD FPGAs. - Familiarity with PCIe Gen4/5/6 technology. - Previous experience with storage systems, protocols, and NAND flash.
