Job Summary:

Database Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  relational and/or NoSQL databases

  .
• Develop and optimize

  SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions

  .
• Create and maintain

  database schemas, tables, indexes, and views

  for high performance and scalability.
• Ensure

  data integrity, security, and availability

  across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with application developers to integrate databases with business applications.
  
• Perform

  database performance tuning, monitoring, and troubleshooting

  .
• Implement

  backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures

  .
• Work with data architects and business analysts to design effective data solutions.
  
• Maintain thorough documentation for database systems, processes, and workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 2–8+ years

  of experience as a Database Developer, Database Programmer, or similar role.
• Strong expertise in

  SQL

  and

  relational database management systems (RDBMS)

  such as

  Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL

  .
• Experience with

  NoSQL databases

  like MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB is a plus.
• Proficiency in

  database design, normalization, indexing, and query optimization

  .
• Familiarity with

  ETL processes and tools

  (Informatica, Talend, SSIS) is desirable.
• Knowledge of

  stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views

  .
• Understanding of

  database security, access controls, and compliance

  .
