Assistant Manager Human Resources

You will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership in the Human Resources function for a multidisciplinary private university in Bengaluru. Your role will involve ensuring that HR practices support academic quality, regulatory compliance, and a positive campus culture. - Design and execute HR strategy aligned with the academic vision, research goals, and growth plans of the institution. - Handle end-to-end processes for faculty recruitment, onboarding, appraisal, and career progression in compliance with higher education norms. - Ensure 100% compliance with Indian higher education and labor regulations, manage documentation, returns, and audits. - Attract, develop, and retain administrative and technical talent, fostering a culture of service excellence. - Foster an inclusive and collaborative campus culture, resolve grievances transparently, and drive diversity, equity, and inclusion programs. - Mentor the HR team, provide advice to senior management, and engage with regulators and accreditation bodies on people-related matters. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Minimum of 12 years of overall HR experience, with a preference for experience in universities, colleges, or research organizations. - High ethical standards, integrity, and ownership with a focus on delivering results. - Proficiency in English (fluent), with working level proficiency in Kannada and Hindi.,
