Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue generation through international trading avenues across sectors such as engineering equipment, mining, power generation, mobility, oil & gas, commercial and passenger vehicles.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in international markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with global trading houses and EPC companies.
  • Conduct market research to identify demand-supply gaps and recommend suitable products and target markets.
  • Achieve quarterly revenue targets and ensure profitability.
  • Participate in international trade shows, exhibitions, and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor offerings for global markets.
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and payment conditions with international clients and partners.
  • Monitor global commodity prices, currency fluctuations, and trade regulations.
  • Execute end-to-end international trade ordersfrom inquiry to delivery and payment collection.
  • Ensure complete and accurate export documentation (EOI, RFQ, Proforma Invoice, Purchase Order, L/C, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, B/L, Tax Invoice, Proof of Delivery, Warranty, Payment Proof).
  • Coordinate with logistics, shipping, and finance teams for timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Resolve trade-related concerns and act as the primary point of contact for international clients.
  • Provide regular updates through Order Status Reports and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with international trade laws and export-import regulations.
  • Track performance metrics (sales volume, margins, market penetration).
  • Prepare business reports, forecasts, and strategic documents.
  • Analyze competitors and market trends to support decision-making.
  • Develop and execute aggressive trading strategies to maximize revenue across multiple product categories.
  • Identify high-margin trading opportunities and establish supply chains to capitalize on them.
  • Leverage industry networks to source products and negotiate favorable trading terms.

Required Profile:

  • Strong knowledge of international markets and trading products.
  • Deep understanding of international sales, trade procedures, and documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Incoterms, Letters of Credit, and export-import regulations.
  • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently and manage cross-border clients.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
