Job Description

As an Android Engineer at Wiom, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver user-friendly, scalable, and performance-driven mobile solutions.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
Build modern, intuitive UIs with Jetpack Compose.
Implement robust application architectures using MVVM and other best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following industry standards.
Stay updated with emerging Android development trends, tools, and technologies.

Requirements

2-5 years of hands-on Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin.
Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android UI development.
Solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Android Jetpack libraries.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and tools.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative startup environment.

Good To Have

Experience with CI/CD pipelines for Android apps.
Knowledge of offline storage, caching, and performance tuning.
Exposure to agile methodologies and version control systems like Git.
