Android Engineer

As an Android developer at our company, your role involves the development and maintenance of applications for a variety of Android devices. You will primarily focus on integrating Android applications with back-end services. Your responsibilities will include: - Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code - Designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code - Ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications - Identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs - Assisting in maintaining code quality, organization, and automation In addition to the above responsibilities, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: **Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different Android versions, and handling various screen sizes - Familiarity with RESTful APIs for connecting Android applications to back-end services - Proficiency in Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices - Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning - Ability to design applications with natural user interfaces like touch - Familiarity with additional sensors like gyroscopes and accelerometers - Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and available libraries - Capability to translate business requirements into technical requirements - Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications - Proficiency in benchmarking and optimization - Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines - Proficient in code versioning tools like Git - Experience with Kotlin and React Native is a plus - Familiarity with continuous integration **Qualification:** - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Master's in Computer Science, or IT If you meet the qualifications and possess the required skills, we encourage you to send your resume to careers@codeatech.com, specifying the position you are applying for in the subject line.,
