Android Engineer

Job Title: Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Experience: 3–5 Years

We are looking for an experienced Android Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on expertise in developing mobile applications using Kotlin.

• The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Android frameworks, modern app architectures, and best practices in mobile development.
• Strong knowledge of

  REST APIs

  , JSON, and networking libraries (Retrofit, OkHttp).
• Experience with Git and version control tools.
• Familiarity with unit testing and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso, Mockito).
• Understanding of Google Play Store deployment process.
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to integrate backend services.
• Implement modern architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVP, or MVI. Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness through code reviews, testing, and debugging. Maintain high standards of code quality, reusability, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Required Skills & Qualifications 
  3–5 years of proven experience in Android application development.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin (Java knowledge is a plus).
• Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (LiveData, ViewModel, Navigation, Room, Data Binding).
