Job Summary

Video Editor

Key Responsibilities

Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for academic, social media, and promotional use.
Add music, graphics, animations, subtitles, and effects to enhance video quality
Collaborate with the media, marketing, and academic teams to understand project requirements and objectives
Maintain a consistent visual style and brand identity across all videos
Stay updated with video trends and suggest creative ways to elevate content
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Ensure proper backup and organization of video assets

Requirements

Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required)
Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.
Good understanding of motion graphics and basic animation
Familiarity with camera equipment and shooting techniques is a plus
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
