Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Testing Engineer with 35 years of hands-on experience in software testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing test cases, executing test plans, identifying bugs, and ensuring the quality and reliability of software products across different platforms and environments. The role demands a deep understanding of testing methodologies, automation tools, and QA best practices in a collaborative, Agile-based development environment. Key Responsibilities: Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Execute manual and automated test cases, and analyze results. Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly. Perform regression testing after bug fixes or enhancements. Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality deliverables. Maintain and improve test automation frameworks and scripts. Conduct functional, integration, system, and performance testing. Ensure test coverage, traceability, and compliance with project requirements. Provide reports on test progress, metrics, and product quality. Qualifications & Skills: Mandatory Skills: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 35 years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation. Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and test scripts. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr). Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI. Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications: ISTQB or other relevant QA certification. Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
