Process Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated fresh graduate Process Engineer to join our team specializing in Second Generation (2G) ethanol and Compressed Biogas (CBG) production. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge bioprocess equipment while contributing to sustainable biofuel production from lignocelluloses feedstock. Key Responsibilities: Equipment Operations & Management Operate and monitor process equipment including reactors, fermenters, distillation columns, and separation units Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance procedures Assist in equipment calibration and performance verification Monitor process parameters using DCS (Distributed Control Systems) and SCADA systems Document equipment performance data and operational logs Support equipment troubleshooting under senior engineer guidance Process Support & Monitoring Monitor key process indicators for 2G ethanol production including temperature, pressure, flow rates, and concentrations Assist in CBG production operations including anaerobic digestion monitoring and gas quality control Support pre-treatment operations for various feedstock types (rice straw, wheat straw, bagasse, corn Stover) Help maintain optimal operating conditions across different process units Participate in process optimization studies and data collection Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related engineering discipline Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience Strong academic record with focus on process engineering, thermodynamics, or biochemical engineering Technical Knowledge (Basic Level) Understanding of chemical engineering principles including mass and energy balances Basic knowledge of process equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, reactors, distillation columns) Familiarity with process control concepts and instrumentation Basic understanding of fermentation and bioprocessing (academic knowledge acceptable) Knowledge of safety principles in chemical/bioprocess industries Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Basic knowledge of process simulation software (Aspen Plus/HYSYS is a plus) Good mathematical and computational skills Ability to read and interpret P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams) This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to launch their career in the rapidly growing renewable energy sector while gaining valuable experience with advanced bioprocess technology.
