Node Js Developer

Job Title:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Node.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of backend technologies, API development, and experience in building scalable applications using Node.js. You will be responsible for developing server-side logic, maintaining the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using Node.js.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and databases.

• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and designers to deliver high-quality software solutions.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code.

• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure quality and functionality.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and development environments.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js.

• Experience with frameworks such as Express.js, Nest.js (optional).

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and web services.

• Good knowledge of databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

• Experience with authentication and authorization (OAuth, JWT).

• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.

• Basic knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Kafka (optional).
