Job Description

As a Merchandiser, your role involves coordinating with buyers to understand product requirements, specifications, and timelines. Your responsibilities will include sourcing fabrics, trims, and other materials while maintaining cost and quality control. You will be tasked with preparing and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery. Effective communication with vendors and factories is essential to oversee production processes and maintain quality assurance standards. In this position, you will be monitoring the sampling process closely to ensure that designs and specifications are accurately implemented. Negotiating prices with suppliers to uphold profitability is part of your daily tasks. Regular inspections during production will be conducted by you to guarantee that quality standards are consistently met. Your duties will also involve maintaining detailed records of orders, inventory, and shipment details to facilitate seamless operations. Managing cost sheets, purchase orders, and other production-related documentation is crucial for efficient workflow. This is a full-time position with health insurance benefits included. The working schedule is during the day shift, and the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in merchandising. The work location is on-site.,
