Perform complete analysis and cost validations using internal and external benchmarking data, historical indices and component benchmarking. Mentor & supports the review of the estimates prepared by the other cost engineers to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with scope of work. Contribute to Lessons Learnt process throughout the project lifecycle. Assist in the development and maintenance of cost databases and estimation tools. What you will do Provide civil/structural engineering expertise to a variety of Upstream production facilities and Downstream manufacturing sites globally. Sustain ExxonMobil’s culture of safety and support compliance with established safety management systems. Participate in the development of company and industry standards. Assist facilities with risk management activities to ensure compliance with ExxonMobil’s Operation Integrity Management System expectations. Onshore Technical support is required in the following areas: Structural Design and Analysis of concrete and steel structures Structural Integrity Plan Management and Execution Foundations and pilings for equipment and structures Dynamic analysis of foundations and structures Develop Risk based inspection plans for structural components Offshore Technical support is required in the following areas: Structural Design and Analysis of fixed and floating offshore structures including Concrete Gravity Based Steel Jacket Platforms Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units (FPSOs) Semi-Submersible Fatigue Analysis of offshore structures Structural Integrity Plan Management and Execution Application of metocean design criteria (wind and wave) About You Skills and Qualifications Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with GPA 7.0 or above. Minimum 4 years of experience in Structural Engineering and Integrity Management for projects/in-service units in the Oil and Gas Industry Strong technical & analytical skills Site experience and knowledge in evaluations of existing structures Experience with onshore, civil or offshore structures in service Experience with fixed and floating offshore structures, such as Concrete Gravity Based, Steel Jacket Platforms, Floating Production Storage and Offloading Units, Semi-Submersible Management of engineering design and brownfield modifications Perform fitness for service engineering assessment based on existing conditions. Provide repair scope after structural assessments for continuous operations. Provide insights for advanced inspection technologies in civil/structural inspections. Interact with design engineers to develop engineering drawings. Review & approve civil / structural drawings. Familiarity with structural analysis and design software (e.g., SACS, STAAD Pro, Mat 3D, CAP) Preferred Qualifications/Experiences Hands-on experience in developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures using applicable design codes and standards. Able to identify the anomaly from civil / structural inspection report (for offshore topside/underwater and onshore structure), perform risk assessment and provide repair recommendation using sound engineering judgement and best practices. Candidates should be self-motivated and focused on achieving business results. Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills are essential. Should be able to train and mentor young team member to enhance competency and capability in the team. Excellent communication skills. Willing and able to travel as required, both domestic and international Should not have attended an interview for Structural Integrity Engineer position in the last 1 year. What role you will play in our team We are seeking dynamic, creative and resourceful candidates to work for ExxonMobil’s Bengaluru, India location on challenging reservoir characterization & modelling projects in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of geologists, geophysicists, petro physicists and reservoir engineers. Candidate will conduct applied reservoir modelling work to support field development planning, mature field opportunity generation, carbon capture & storage, regulatory requirements and strategic projects. What you will do In consultation with ExxonMobil’s Reservoir Modelling group in Houston, define project objectives, work scopes and deliverables. Contribute to existing model updates, developing/maintaining workflows, volumetric and calibration to dynamic data. Support business units that require models to screen opportunities, run scenarios and quantify uncertainty. Support business units to manage country-specific regulatory requirements that have a significant modelling component. Work with computational scientists, engineers, and geoscientists to test, deliver and support various modelling software tools, models and algorithms. About You Skills and Qualifications Master’s degree in Earth Science, Physical Science, Applied Mathematics or Engineering with a minimum GPA score of 6.0 & above. Minimum 3 years of hands on industrial experience in integrated reservoir modelling in support of upstream oil and gas operations. Strong background in one or more geoscience skills (production/development geology, geophysics, stratigraphy). Proficiency with English and strong communication skills. Preferred Qualifications / Experience Strong computational and analytical skills. Expert level Petrel user, experience with Petrel workflows and plugins.
