Electrician role and responsibilities:

Attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem solve with minimal downtime.

Carry out diagnosis of faults, maintenance, and repairs to all types of plant and equipment in a safe, timely, and professional manner.

Identify and escalate any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage

Report breakdown of root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management

Ensure all work is undertaken to a high-quality standard and adheres to all quality standard regulations

Ensure company targets are met in respect of the quality of products.

Assist in the development of preventative maintenance (PM) schedules

Carry out PM schedules as necessary and planned work orders as required, and provide feedback to develop the system

Assist with the moving, installation, and repositioning of machines and equipment

Log completion of work on all required maintenance reports and checklists

Qualifications and experience:

ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering

1-2 years of experience as an Electrician

Excellent technical knowledge of Control Panel, DG, and Electrical wiring

Very good knowledge of both Mechanical and electrical

Experience in the food industry will be an added advantage.

Daily activities of the Technician

Daily inspections of equipment for potential issues, checking of leaks, wear & tear

Attend breakdown of the daily issues, with minimal time

Maintaining all the tools and equipment

Adjusting equipment settings and recording the settings.

Improvement in the factory infrastructure, including plumbing, civil work as per the requirements.
