Job Title: Senior QA Automation Engineer (Selenium with Java) Experience Required: 4 to 8 Years Location: [Chennai] Job Type: [Full-Time ] Notice Period: [Immediate / 15 Days Preferred] Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Selenium automation using Java . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building automation frameworks, scripting test cases, and integrating automation with CI/CD tools. A solid understanding of web services testing using SoapUI and API automation is essential. Key Responsibilities: Design and develop robust automation frameworks using Selenium and TestNG Identify and define automation test scenarios based on business requirements Write, execute, and maintain test scripts with a focus on reusability and scalability Perform test execution , analyze test results, and report defects effectively Conduct feasibility studies and proof of concept (POC) for automation candidates Automate web services testing using SoapUI Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins , Maven , or ANT Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and deliverables Generate detailed test execution reports and provide recommendations Participate in estimation and project planning for automation initiatives Maintain and optimize existing test scripts to ensure long-term effectiveness Mandatory Skills: Strong experience (48 years) in Selenium WebDriver with Java Proficiency in TestNG framework and Java scripting Solid experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks Expertise in SoapUI for web services/API testing Hands-on experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Maven, and ANT Good to Have: Working knowledge of DevOps practices Experience in project estimation and automation strategy planning Familiarity with version control systems like Git Soft Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability Self-motivated and detail-oriented Role & responsibilities Preferred candidate profile
