Role & responsibilities Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and Java. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Work with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application. Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs. Maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency. Publish applications on Google Play Store and manage the release cycle. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 4 to 6 years of professional experience in Android development. Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java . Solid understanding of Android SDK, Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices. Experience with Jetpack components , Room , LiveData , and ViewModel . Familiarity with MVVM , MVP , or other architecture patterns. Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Retrofit, Glide/Picasso, Firebase, etc.). Proficient understanding of version control systems (Git) . Strong debugging and problem-solving skills. Experience in unit testing and UI testing frameworks (JUnit, Espresso). Good knowledge of the full mobile development life cycle. Preferred Skills (Good to Have): Experience with Jetpack Compose . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Knowledge of Google Play Console and app submission processes. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions
