Sr. Engineer - Data Protection for Veritas NetBackup (Windows and Linux) Overview: Senior Data Protection Engineer specializing in Veritas NetBackup focusing on designing, implementing, and maintaining data protection solutions to ensure the security and availability of critical enterprise data. The role will require the following including but not limited to: Designing and Implementing Solutions: Developing and deploying data protection strategies using Veritas NetBackup to meet organizational needs. System Management: Overseeing backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity, and maintaining system performance. Cyber Resilience: Implementing measures to protect against ransomware and other cyber threats, leveraging features like immutability and anomaly detection. Collaboration: Working with IT teams to integrate data protection solutions with existing infrastructure and applications. Troubleshooting and Support: Diagnosing and resolving issues related to backup and recovery processes. Documentation and Training: Creating detailed documentation and providing training to junior team members or other stakeholders.
