Job Description

As a Senior UX Researcher at Infogain, you will be instrumental in elevating user experience by leveraging data and research insights strategically. Collaborating closely with the UX team and cross-functional partners, your role will involve embedding a rigorous research perspective into strategic decisions that drive both user and business value. To excel in this position, we are seeking candidates with 5+ years of experience within an in-house research team or relevant work experience, a BA or any degree in a relevant discipline, expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods, proficiency in writing reports and internal communications, excellent communication and analytical skills, proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team, experience with agile processes and delivery models, a meticulous approach to documentation and organization, and familiarity with tools such as Pendo, User Testing, Hotjar, Figjam, User Zoom, Jira, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Helpscout, Google Workspace, Quicksight, Miro, FigJam, Dovetail, and Maze. In this role, your responsibilities will include driving user-centric improvements by leading initiatives that enhance user experience through the strategic development of data tools, ensuring alignment with user needs and Charitable Impacts business objectives. You will champion research in strategic decisions by collaborating with the UX team and broader organization to embed an evidence-based perspective into strategic decisions, advocating for user-centered, insights-driven solutions and facilitating alignment among team members and stakeholders on research initiatives. Additionally, you will support the UX team by integrating research insights into design solutions, guiding product iterations to address user pain points and opportunities, overseeing UX research processes to streamline workflows and optimize resource allocation, and maintaining best practices and tools for efficient collaboration and documentation. You will also lead knowledge sharing by acquiring, analyzing, and communicating research findings across multiple touchpoints, documenting plans, insights, and outcomes to engage stakeholders throughout the research journey. Furthermore, you will contribute to shaping the overarching UX strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and fostering a unified vision for user-centered design. Your role will involve conducting in-depth research through literature reviews, interviews, and data gathering activities to understand user needs and behaviors comprehensively, partnering with internal departments to empower them with insights for delivering user-focused experiences, and staying abreast of industry trends and UX best practices to keep Charitable Impact at the forefront of user experience. As a Senior UX Researcher, you will advocate for research and design excellence by building strong relationships across the organization, highlighting the value of UX and its impact on user satisfaction and business outcomes. By supporting a collaborative environment that encourages growth, innovation, and excellence within the UX team, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's success.
