Testing QA Engineers

Role Overview: As a Testing QA Engineer at Welocalize, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and execution of test plans to ensure software products meet quality standards. Your role will involve intermediate-level testing tasks and collaboration with team members. The split between manual and automated testing in QA is 50:50. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute detailed test cases based on project requirements - Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools - Conduct functional, regression, and system-level testing with minimal supervision - Assist in test planning by analyzing requirements and creating test scenarios - Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and tools - Coordinate with developers to communicate defects and support debugging efforts - Perform basic configuration and maintenance of test environments - Maintain QA procedures on a per client/project basis - Maintain quality plans for existing and new client needs - Identify testing problems and generate solutions for projects or processes - Control and manage projects through systematic management skills and methods to ensure testing projects run smoothly - Troubleshoot testing development and execution issues Qualifications Required: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field - 1-2 years of experience - Proficiency in defect tracking tools, with basic scripting knowledge considered a plus - Proficient in using defect tracking tools and test management systems - Knowledge of testing methodologies and QA processes - Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Additional Company Details (if provided): Welocalize is a trusted global transformation partner that accelerates the global business journey by enabling brands and companies to reach, engage, and grow international audiences.
