Test Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Understand business/functional requirements and derive test scenarios.
• Design, review, and execute

  manual test cases

  for web, mobile, and backend applications.
• Perform various testing types including

  functional,  system integration, and UAT

  .
• Maintain detailed test documentation including

  test scenarios, cases, and execution reports

  .
• Collaborate with developers, Leads, and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support in preparing

  test data

  and performing

  sanity/smoke checks

  on builds.
• Gain exposure to

  automation tools

  and support test automation implementation in the future.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• 1-2 years of handson experience in Manual Testing.

• Good knowledge of

  SDLC, test case design techniques.

• Understanding of

  Agile/Scrum methodologies

  .
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Good to Have (Future Skills for Automation Growth)

• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (

  Java / Python / JavaScript

  ).
• API testing exposure (

  Postman, Swagger

  ).
• Interest in learning automation testing as a career path.
