Role Overview:

Territory Sales Manager

What Youll Do:

Territory & Pipeline:
Build and execute a territory plan; generate leads through events, outbound, and partners; maintain 3–4 pipeline coverage.
Sales Cycle:
Handle full cycle—discovery, technical evaluation, proposal, negotiation, and closure for new licenses, renewals, and expansions.
Value Selling:
Map customer needs to simulation outcomes (cost reduction, faster time-to-market, fewer prototypes).
Account Growth:
Land-and-expand within accounts; cross-sell software, training, and services.
CRM & Forecasting:
Maintain accurate CRM updates and forecasts.
Market Insights:
Track competitors and share insights with marketing/product teams.
Collaboration:
Work with Ansys channel, marketing, and Customer Success teams for smooth onboarding.

What You’ll Bring:

3–5 years of B2B engineering software sales (CAE/CAD/PLM/simulation) with
proven quota achievement
.
Understanding of at least one simulation domain (FEA/CFD/EMI-EMC/Optics).
Strong sales skills: discovery, qualification, objection handling, proposal, and negotiation.
CRM discipline (Salesforce/Zoho or similar) and forecasting accuracy.
Willingness to travel within Mumbai/MMR and nearby industrial clusters.
Engineering or Business degree preferred.
