About the Role

We are looking for a qualified candidate to work as a full-time Technical Writer III as part of the Strategy NAF Tech team. The Technical Writer III will collaborate with multiple teams in an Agile environment (e.g., Product, Project, Support, Training, and Engineering) to create, update, and maintain technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and analyzes technical information from various sources to document requirements and features.
• Gathers information from technical and non-technical SMEs to develop, organize procedure manuals, technical specs, and process documents.
• Works simultaneously on multiple projects.
• Develops and maintains API documentation.
• Collaborates with other teams to create and edit Quick Reference Guides (QRCs), user guides, and other technical documentation.
• Works with the Architecture teams to design and develop guidance and diagrams.
• Regularly checks all technical material for consistency and accuracy.
• Generates innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 1 – 3 years of relevant experience.

Required Skills

• Ability to multi-task and be a self-starter.
• Fluency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality as required by the Privacy Act protecting consumers.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) as well as interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to take on new challenges and build on current skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Adobe Technical Communications Suite is a plus.
• Experience within the mortgage, or real estate field is a plus.
