Technical Sales Executive

As a Technical Sales Executive, you will be responsible for traveling extensively within your assigned territory to meet clients and promote the sale of products from well-known multi-national companies. Your key duties will include sourcing new potential customers, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, and demonstrating the technical features and benefits of our products through trials. In order to achieve sales objectives, you will need to adhere to company policies, guidelines, commercial norms, and statutory requirements. This includes preparing and sending quotations, product-related documents, and following up on orders. Additionally, you will be required to develop sales and collection plans aligned with monthly and annual budgets, provide forecasts for product sales, and negotiate/close deals while handling customer complaints. Effective communication with your reporting authority through daily call reports is essential to track performance and take necessary actions for improvement. It is important to note that achieving sales and collection targets is a key performance indicator for this role. Ideally, candidates should have 1 to 3 years of experience in the relevant industry, although variations in experience can be accommodated based on the salary package. Academic qualifications should include a Bachelor's degree in disciplines such as Food Science, Dairy Science, Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Dairy Technology, Food Processing, or related fields. Candidates with an MBA in Sales & Marketing have an added advantage. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as Provident Fund. The work schedule is during day shifts, and proficiency in English is required. The role entails a willingness to travel up to 75% of the time, and the work location is in person.
