Technical Program Manager, Google TV

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, utilizing your technical expertise. You will collaborate with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and effectively communicate with cross-functional partners throughout the company. Your role will involve explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives and discussing technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to understand defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact. - Using leadership skills to drive project delivery and working closely with engineering and product management teams. - Implementing new operational improvements and processes, establishing relationships, and acting as a bridge to infrastructure and other feature development teams. - Leading the integration with external partners, gathering internal requirements, communicating effectively with partners, and influencing partners to deliver requirements. Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computers or equivalent practical experience. - 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. - Experience as a Technical Program Manager with experience in managing software project development and integration. - Experience in managing external partners and vendors. Preferred qualifications: - Experience with software development life cycle principles and agile execution. - Experience in managing programs and cross-functional teams. - Experience collaborating across functions and organizations to align technical roadmaps and address team needs.,
