Technical Content Developer

As an embedded member of an Agile product development team at CloudBees, your role involves developing, validating, delivering, and maintaining highly technical, enterprise-level product documentation. You will collaborate with Subject-Matter Experts and peer writers to ensure coordination of deliverables and dependencies. Additionally, you will work with the design team to write and maintain UI text for a seamless user experience. Your responsibilities include: - Serving as an embedded member of an Agile product development team - Developing, validating, delivering, and maintaining highly technical product documentation - Collaborating with Subject-Matter Experts and peer writers to coordinate deliverables and dependencies - Working with the design team to write and maintain UI text - Developing technical content for multiple delivery channels and audiences - Performing peer reviews to match writing and style standards - Validating technical procedural content - Scoping projects, estimating time requirements, and tracking progress across multiple projects To excel in this role, you should have excellent written and spoken English language skills, problem-solving abilities, and organizational and communication skills. You are required to have at least 4 years of technical content or curriculum development experience, preferably with 1+ years of enterprise-level experience. Proficiency in creating technical, product-related videos is a plus. Additionally, you should be willing to learn about cloud hosting (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.), virtualization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.), source code management (Git), issue tracking systems (Jira), and markup syntax such as AsciiDoc, Markdown, or reStructuredText. Experience with Jenkins, continuous integration/delivery/deployment technologies, and processes would be advantageous.
