Tech Risk and Controls, Associate

As an Associate within the Information Technology Risk Assessor team at JPMorgan Chase, your role will involve supporting firm-wide process assessments, conducting Design & Performance tests, and communicating test results with stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand Technology processes within the firm and assess associated risks. - Conduct IT-control Assessments, ITAC's, ITGC's, SOC1/SOC2 reviews, and Technology Process risk assessments. - Perform end-to-end control evaluations for control design and performance, ensuring proper documentation of evidence in compliance with CORE Program Standards and Procedures. - Collaborate with Assessment Leads, Technology, Risk, and Control professionals to enhance technical assessment guidance and evaluation approaches. - Engage with the business to enhance operational risk processes, support safe business growth, and influence risk-based decision making. - Develop consultative relationships with business and control teams to drive strategic program decisions with a focus on controls perspective. - Prepare materials for presentations at working groups, senior management meetings, and provide key stakeholders with relevant information. - Identify and assess key and emerging operational risks for the business through staying updated on industry news, incidents, and regulatory developments to facilitate proactive risk identification and mitigation. Qualifications Required: - Minimum bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience - Curiosity and interest in understanding business operations and effectively managing risk. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including interaction with senior management. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze risks, break down complex processes, and present solutions to stakeholders. - Ability to make independent decisions, work with limited supervision, and thrive in a dynamic environment. - Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills to drive change. - Self-motivated with the capability to multitask, prioritize, and excel in a fast-paced and evolving environment.,
