Description
As the Vice President Impairment, you will play a crucial role in leading the design and development of enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript. You will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-native solutions utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will define technical requirements and translate business needs into robust solutions. Ensuring code quality through best practices in design patterns, testing, and performance optimization will be a key aspect of your role. Additionally, you will mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership across the team. To succeed in this role, you should possess strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot for backend development, as well as hands-on experience with Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript for frontend development. Expertise in cloud development, including containerization with Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes, is essential. You should also have proven experience in setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. A solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and secure coding practices will further enhance your capabilities. Furthermore, highly valued skills may include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or OpenShift, familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture, exposure to enterprise integration patterns and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ), strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are also critical for success in this role. Based out of Pune Location, the purpose of your role is to drive technical excellence and innovation by leading the design and implementation of robust software solutions, providing mentorship to engineering teams, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and contributing to strategic planning to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business objectives. Your accountabilities will include providing guidance and expertise to engineering teams, contributing to strategic planning, designing and implementing complex software solutions, mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers, collaborating with business partners and stakeholders, and driving innovation within the organization by identifying and incorporating new technologies and practices. You will be expected to contribute to strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements; and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.
