System Administrator

As a System Administrator at our company based in Coimbatore, you will have the opportunity to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. In this entry-level role, you will gain hands-on experience with server management, troubleshooting, networking, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our systems. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and network systems. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to minimize downtime. - Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity. - Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting internal networks, including LAN and WAN. - Respond to user queries, resolve system-related issues, and offer technical support to end-users. - Help with the configuration of servers, desktops, laptops, and other devices. - Assist in system updates, patches, and security configurations. - Document system configurations, processes, and issues. - Work alongside senior system administrators to implement IT projects. - Ensure systems are secure by conducting regular security audits and implementing necessary measures. - Assist with network setup, including switches, routers, and firewalls. - Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Freshers welcome). - Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS). - Understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP). - Familiarity with hardware components and system setup. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Eagerness to learn new technologies and systems. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. - Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) is a plus but not mandatory.
