Supervisor, Blackline Implementation Consultant

Role Overview: You are invited to join the growing Data and Digital Services Consulting Practice at RSM as a Supervisor, DDS Blackline Implementation Consultant. In this role, you will focus on providing Finance Automation services and products, with a specific emphasis on Blackline. Your expertise in Accounting/Finance, preferably from a consulting/project management background, will be highly valued in this position. Your responsibilities will include working with various clients to provide operational support and contribute to the success of projects related to finance transformation. Key Responsibilities: - Demonstrate the core RSM values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, innovation, and stewardship in all interactions with clients and team members - Understand the RSM Data and Digital Services approach, methodology, and tools - Take overall project responsibility for projects you lead, ensuring their success - Contribute to finance transformation initiatives by assessing project requirements and deliverables to identify the best solutions for clients - Lead client workshops, review deliverable documents, and design architecture - Provide system components demonstrations, admin training, user training, and support to junior resources - Troubleshoot issues on projects, manage project utilization, and coordinate resources effectively - Participate in project management activities, sales calls, proposal preparation, and pricing discussions - Develop junior resources, provide feedback, and serve as a career advisor - Obtain technical certifications, build integration components, and create reports and dashboards - Manage relationships with customers, review project status, and collaborate with consultants in different practices - Stay updated on industry trends, identify client needs, and expand service offerings - Act as a subject matter expert on Blackline, working under pressure and meeting deadlines - Offer training and support to team members for Blackline, and work collaboratively with the team and senior management Qualifications Required: - MBA (from premier B School) / CA or equivalent with majors in Finance or Accounting, MCA/B.Tech. (from premier institutes) or equivalent in Business Analytics, Information System & Data Science with relevant experience in Finance Transformation - At least 5+ years of experience in finance transformation consulting or Finance/Accounting related to Organization Structure, Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Financial Close, etc. - Extensive implementation experience and knowledge of financial close applications like BlackLine - Certification in different BlackLine modules like Account Reconciliation, Journal Entry, Transaction Matching, FRA, Studio360 etc. is an added advantage - Excellent communication skills, project management abilities, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work effectively in virtual teams and independently, with curiosity about business and technology - Experience with tools such as FloQast, Coupa, Workiva, Kyriba, High Radius is a plus Additional Company Details: RSM offers a competitive benefits and compensation package, along with flexibility in schedules to help you balance work and personal life.
