Sr. Technical Writer

You will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining technical documentation using DITA XML, ensuring adherence to DITA standards and best practices. Your role will involve developing comprehensive user manuals, API documentation, system guides, and other technical documents that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences. Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders will be crucial to gather detailed technical information and incorporate their feedback into documentation. - Lead documentation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation. - Ensure timely delivery of high-quality documentation by establishing and enforcing documentation standards, style guides, and best practices. - Provide guidance and support to junior technical writers, offer feedback, and contribute to their professional growth. - Review and edit content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards and guidelines. - Utilize DITA-compatible tools and other documentation software effectively to produce and manage documentation content. - Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. - Advanced proficiency in DITA XML, including the creation of DITA maps, topics, and transformations. - Experience in technical writing with a strong track record of creating and managing technical documentation using DITA XML. - Proficiency in DITA authoring tools (e.g., Oxygen XML Editor, Adobe FrameMaker) and other documentation tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Word, Markdown, Confluence). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively to various audiences. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.,
