Sr Staff Engineer - Security and Access Control

As a Qualcomm Systems Engineer, you will be involved in researching, designing, developing, simulating, and validating systems-level software, hardware, architecture, algorithms, and solutions to drive the development of cutting-edge technology. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system-level requirements and standards are met and exceeded. Key Responsibilities: - Work with Qualcomm's security architecture/IP and access control team on next-generation SOC for smartphone, tablet, automotive, and IOT product categories - Assist product development teams in applying secure HW design principles at the individual block, computing core, and SoC levels - Engage with product teams independently to detect and mitigate security vulnerabilities in hardware architecture and implementations - Involve in access control issues at both software and hardware levels Qualifications Required: - Minimum 12 years of industry or academic experience in Security - Expertise in two or more of the following areas: Computer architecture, Mobile platform security, ARM TrustZone, Operating system security, C/C++, Python, RTL - Strong teamwork and communication skills across various teams and geolocations Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in ARM architecture SoC security design, Applied Cryptography, Trusted Computing - Knowledge of hardware firewalls for access control, AI/ML, SystemVerilog, VHDL, Verilog, SystemC - Familiarity with side-channel attacks, power analysis, timing attacks on crypto elements, Memory technology (DDR4, DDR5), and storage technologies (eMMC, UFS) Educational Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering Experience Requirements: - Bachelor's/Master's degree with 5-7+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience,
