Sr Software QA Engineer

You will be responsible for strong experience in QA Test UI and API Automation using Selenium web driver (v3+), Playwright, and Request, with programming proficiency in Python. Your role will involve understanding comprehensive requirements, reviewing and analyzing stories, specifications, and technical design documents to develop detailed test cases and test data for thorough testing of business functionality through Automation & Manual methods. You should have expertise in automation frameworks such as BDD Gherkin and Behave, Pytest, and experience in designing and building automation frameworks. Additionally, familiarity with writing DB queries (preferably in Postgres, Snowflake, MySQL, RDS) and knowledge of DevOps concepts with Git and Jenkins is required. Experience working with Agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban is essential, and key competencies including Problem-Solving, Analytical, Collaboration, and Accountability are crucial. Your responsibilities will also include hands-on test preparation, scripting, and execution in an Agile and DevOps environment, as well as execution on automation frameworks, scripting, and maintenance. Requirements for this role include a minimum of 7 years of strong expertise in understanding Test requirements, test data, test plan & test case designing, and developing detailed test cases and test data for thorough testing of business functionality through Automation & Manual means. You should have at least 4 years of strong work experience in UI and API testing, with additional experience in working with AWS/Cloud hosted applications being an advantage. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, Problem-Solving, Analytical, Collaboration, Accountability, and strong communication skills are key competencies required. Experience with automation framework designing and enhancements using Selenium web-driver (v3+), Playwright, with programming expertise in Python is mandatory. Knowledge of automation frameworks in BDD Gherkin and Behave, Pytest is also necessary. Having experience in the Healthcare/Life Sciences domain is considered advantageous. The Additional Information includes the requirement of a professional approach, good communication skills (written, verbal, listening, and articulation), and a Hybrid model setup with 2 days of work in the office being mandatory. The Interview Process consists of 2 Technical rounds, and the company is open to considering relocation cases, providing relocation allowance accordingly. The shift timings are from 11 AM to 8 PM. Key points to note are that 30% emphasis will be on Management skills (3-4 People), candidates with experience in UI and API testing are mandatory, and a minimum of 4 years in Python automation is required. Required Qualification: - Bachelor of Engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.E./B.Tech.) Job Insights: It is advised to look for candidates who can join early, with a maximum notice period of 30 days being acceptable. The working model is Hybrid, with twice a week in the office. A total of 7 years of experience is required, out of which a minimum of 5 years should be in automation testing.
